DISTRIBUTION: Altipiano of C Peru through W Bolivia, to NE Chile and NW Argentina.

SYNONYMS: argurus , carillus , ducillus, marcarum, montanus .

COMMENTS: Karyotype reported by Pearson and Patton (1976).
