Diagnosis. Dorsum mainly yellowish, with dense, short pubescence ( Fig. 19a View FIGURE 19 ). Head short and wide, antennomere II yellowish, relatively long; mandibular plates, transverse swelling, maxillary plates and anteclypeus mainly pale-yellowish, gular lobe with pale-yellowish margin, labrum pale-yellowish, labiomeres III+IV mainly black, preocellar spots relatively large, cuneiform, attached to inner margin of compound eyes. Pronotum short and wide, with yellowish lateral margin, in pale individuals with large yellowish spot on lateral side; corium mainly pale, in dark individuals with dark stripes, clavus black, completely yellowish in extremely pale individuals, with a large pale spot on apex ( Fig. 19b–d View FIGURE 19 ); legs mainly yellowish, foretibia with complete dark stripe on dorsal side, tarsomere III of each leg with infuscated apex. Male paramere relatively stout, dorsal side with dense, long setae, processus sensualis blunt, with a small tuft of short setae ( Fig. 19e–g View FIGURE 19 ); parandria blunt, slightly converged to apex ( Fig. 19h View FIGURE 19 ). Female subgenital plate sub-triangular, apical half pale.

Habitats. The specimens collected from Gansu were found on sandy river bank ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 20–24 ).
Distribution in China. Heilongjiang ( Chen & Lindskog 1994, Vinokurov et al. 2018), Jilin ( Chen & Lindskog 1994, Vinokurov et al. 2018), Liaoning ( Chen & Lindskog 1994, Vinokurov et al. 2018), Inner Mongolia ( Wang & Li 2012, Vinokurov et al. 2018), Hebei (new record), Tianjin ( Chen & Lindskog 1994, Vinokurov et al. 2018), Shanxi ( Chen & Lindskog 1994, Vinokurov et al. 2018), Gansu (new record), Xinjiang ( Chen & Lindskog 1994, Vinokurov et al. 2012, Vinokurov et al. 2018).
General distribution. Widely distributed across Oriental, Palearctic, Saharo-Arabian and Sino-Japanese regions ( Schuh et al. 1987, Larivière & Larochelle 2018).
