Type species. Dysdera latreillii Blackwall, 1832 , from Wales; synonym of Harpactea hombergi ( Scopoli, 1763) View in CoL .

Diagnosis. See Kunt & Özkütük (2023).

Composition. Currently comprising 213 species distributed from Europe to northern Iran ( WSC 2025).
