Type species. Hummelia incisa Schenkel, 1936 ; gender feminine.

Remark. Ummeliata Strand, 1942 comprises ten species (including one species known from males and one from females) distributed in China, India, Indonesia (Sumatra), Japan, Korea, Laos, Russia (Europe to Far East), Sri Lanka, Turkey and Vietnam (WSC 2024).
