Distribution. China (Chongqing).
Remarks. Chrosiothes pengqi was described by Lin & Li in Lin et al. (2024) and placed in family Theridiidae . The opisthosoma of C. pengqi is adorned with ridges and papillae. The epigyne of C. pengqi resembles those of all other congeners in the genus Oilinyphia . The epigyne of C. pengqi is similar to those in Oilinyphia daxuensis sp. n., O. hengji Zhao & Li, 2014 , O. jadbounorum Ponksee & Tanikawa, 2010 , O. peculiaris Ono & Saito, 1989 , O. wenfengensis sp. n. and O. xinqiaoensis sp. n.. On the basis of structural and morphological affiliation, it is proposed here as Oilinyphia pengqi ( Lin & Li, 2024) comb. n..
