Type species. Erigone antennata O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1875 ; gender masculine.

Remark. Scotinotylus comprises 46 species (including 12 species known from females only and one from males only) distributed in Central Asia, Europe, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, North America and Russia (WSC 2024).
