Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from type locality; adjective.

Diagnosis. The female of Ryojius lianghekouens i s sp. n. resembles that of R. nanyuensis in having the similar longer than wide dorsal part of scape, the stretcher and the posterior median plate of epigyne ( Figs 204A–D View FIGURE 204 ; Figs 207A–D View FIGURE 207 ; Tu, Saaristo & Li, 2006 fig. 18), but can be distinguished by the posterior margin of basal part of scape V-shaped in R. lianghekouens i s sp. n. ( Figs 204A– D View FIGURE 204 ; vs. arch-shaped).

Description. Female (holotype, Figs 207A, B View FIGURE 207 ): Total length: 1.62. Carapace 0.75 long, 0.57 wide, light brown, cervical and radial grooves distinct Clypeus 0.28 high. Chelicerae with five promarginal and six retromarginal teeth. Sternum longer than wide, yellowish grey with microsetae. Eyes: AER recurved, PER straight, slightly wider. Eye sizes and interdistances:AME 0.04, ALE 0.05, PME 0.05, PLE 0.06, AME–AME 0.01, PME–PME 0.04, AME–ALE, 0.03, PME–PLE 0.04, AME–PME 0.04, ALE–ALE 0.22, PLE–PLE 0.26, ALE–PLE contiguous. Length of legs: I 1.95 (0.58, 0.66, 0.37, 0.34), II 1.78 (0.54, 0.62, 0.36, 0.26), III 1.59 (0.47, 0.48, 0.33, 0.31), IV 1.97 (0.59, 0.68, 0.41, 0.29). TmI 0.32 and TmIV absent. Tibial spine formula: 2-2-2-2. Opisthosoma 1.04 long, 0.68 wide, oval, pale, posteriorly with two black chevrons; ventral side pale with black patches.

Epigyne ( Figs 204A–D View FIGURE 204 ): Potruding; characterised by conspicuosly wide, posteriorly projecting scape, posterior end of basal part of scape (BS) V-shaped, dorsally bearing narrow tongue-shaped stretcher (ST). Distal part of scape (DPS) longer than wide with small lateral pockects (LP). Posterior median plate (PMP) rectangular. spermathecae (S) globular, situates at the apeces.

Male. Unknown.

Distribution. Known from type localities (Hubei and Hunan Provinces, Figs 313 View FIGURE 313 , 315 View FIGURE 315 ).
