Type species. Microneta quisquiliarum Menge, 1869 ; gender feminine.

Remark. Microneta comprises 11 species (including six species known from males and two from females) distributed in Brazil, Holarctic, New Guinea, Peru, St. Vincent, (WSC 2024).
