Type species. Theridion sanguinolentum Walckenaer, 1841 ; gender masculine.

Remark. Nematogmus comprises seven species (including three species known from females) distributed in Caucasus, China, Europe, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, North Africa, Russia (Europe to Far East), Sri Lanka and Vietnam (WSC 2024).
