Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the type locality; adjective.
Diagnosis. Erigone kazhiensis sp. n. resembles E. maritima in having the similar tibia in male palp ( Figs 67A–D View FIGURE67 , 68A, B View FIGURE 68 ; Marusik et al. 2006, figs 11, 12, 14, 15), but can be distinguished by the anterior radical process somewhat triangular, distal part not extending above the tehulum in prolateral view in E. kazhiensis sp. n. ( Figs 67B, C View FIGURE67 , 68B View FIGURE 68 ; vs. rod-like, tip slightly curved, extending above the tegulum); tegulum tip somewhat rectangular in retrolateral view in E. kazhiensis sp. n. ( Figs 67A–C View FIGURE67 , 68A, B View FIGURE 68 ; vs. somewhat triangular).
Description. Male ( Figs 69A–D View FIGURE 69 ): Total length: 2.59. Carapace 1.21 long, 0.95 wide, cephalic region slightly elevated 0.35 high, brown, fovea, cervical and radial grooves distinct. Clypeus 0.29 high. Chelicerae with four promarginal and four retromarginal teeth. Sternum longer than wide dark brown with microsetae. Eyes: AER recurved, PME slightly procurved. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.05, ALE 0.07, PME 0.06, PLE 0.06, AME–AME 0.04, PME–PME 0.07, AME–ALE, 0.05, PME–PLE 0.08, AME–PME 0.06, ALE–ALE 0.34, PLE–PLE 0.36, ALE–PLE contiguous. Length of legs: I 2.86 (0.79, 1.04, 0.57, 0.46), II 2.62 (0.76, 0.92, 0.53, 0.41), III 2.29 (0.64, 0.76, 0.52, 0.37), IV 2.99 (0.88, 1.01, 0.65, 0.45). TmI 0.33 and TmIV 0.21. Tibial spine formula: 2-2-1-1. Opisthosoma 1.24 long, 0.91 wide, oval, brownish black, with irregular light brown patches.
Palp ( Figs 67A–D View FIGURE67 , 68A, B View FIGURE 68 ): Femur almost as long as both patella and tibia, slightly curved, ventrally with two rows of teeth; patella longer than tibia, ventral patellar apophysis long with pointed tip, extending ventrally. Tibia with two reterolateral trichobothria, tibia central tooth column-shaped, dorsal tibial apophysis (DTA), round, prolateral tibial apophysis (PTA) longer than wide with blunt end; cymbium unmodified, narrow towards tip; paracymbium (PC) sclerotized, hook-shaped, distal tip slightly curved with blunt end; tegulum (T) with protegulum (PT) longer than wide, with blunt tip slightly covering the distal suprategular apophysis; distal suprategular apophysis (DSA) sclerotized, longer than wide, slightly curved. Embolic division: radix (R) with broad plate, sclerotized; anterior redical process (ARP) longer than wide, slightly curved with blunt end; embolic membrane (EM) small; median membrane (MM) transparent, covering the embolus in prolateral view. Embolus (E) long, sclerotized, S-shaped.
