Type species. Gongylidioides cucullatus Oi, 1960 View in CoL ; gender masculine.

Remark. Gongylidioides comprises 20 species (including four species known from females and one from males) distributed in China, India, Korea, Japan, Malaysia (peninsula) Russia (south Far East) and Vietnam (WSC 2024).
