Associated plants: Rhus aromatica Aiton , R. copallinum L., R. glabra L. ( Anacardiaceae ); Chamaecyparis sp. ( Cupressaceae ) ( Tecic & McPherson 2004; Rider 2015)
Remarks: Little is known about the habits and hosts of this species. Walt & Mcpherson (1973) described the immature stages and provided some notes on their life cycle. In a paper still in progress and not yet published, Eger (pers. comm.) provides a concise summary of plants associated with S. marmorata in the United States.
