Remarks. Although Berlese (1903) provisionally placed this species in the genus Eviphis , he simultaneously suggested it could belong to his new genus Iphidozercon Berlese 1903 . It is now considered as the type species of Iphidozercon ( Ascidae , reviewed by Gwiazdowicz & Halliday 2008)
