Notes. 1) A number of old references may probably refer to Sperchon thienemanni Koenike, 1907 , which was previously considered a variety of this species. 2) Sperchon glandulosus cubanicus Sokolow, 1940 occurs in the same samples as the nominative subspecies and requires re-examination, since its taxonomic status is not sufficiently defined.
4. Sperchon (Sperchon) kuluensis Tuzovskij, 1990
Distribution: Far East: Magadan region ( Tuzovskij, 2008).
5. Sperchon (Sperchon) kurilensis Uchida, 1936
Distribution: Far East: Kuril Islands ( Uchida, 1936a).
Note: The species was originally assigned to the subgenus Hispidosperchon . However, the description of this species does not indicate the presence of a reticulated structure of the integument (the main feature of Hispidosperchon ). Accodring to the description of Uchida, the integument has fine ridges. So very likely, this species belongs to Sperchon s.s. Also, it is impossible to determine the sex of the material from the description, which makes its identification difficult.
