Current status. Hillia “of authors ” acronyctina [ Poole 1989]

Type status (description). Holotype in Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales “Bernardino Rivadavia”.

Type locality and collectors. [ Argentina]— La Rioja ( Giacomelli ) .

Type specimens. ZSM: Holotype ♀. Argentina, Prov.La Rioja, La Rioja, Giacomelli leg. Old label: Acronicta ??, La Rioja ( RH). 3

Remarks Although Köhler did not specify the sex of the holotype, he described only the female. Köhler mentioned that the type specimen bears a label with “ Acronycta ?”, written by Giacomelli.
