Type status (description). Holotype male and allotype female in Zoologischen Staatssammlung in München.

Type locality and collectors. Holotype. Argentina — Catamarca: Quebrada de los Cazadores in der Zentralgruppe der Nevados del Aconquija , 4500–4800m, 23.xi.1953 (M. Lamb) . Allotype. Peru — Chucuito (am Titicacasee), 18.ii- 19.iii.1953 (H.W. Koepcke leg) .
