Remarks. Sex of the described material unspecified. As Köhler (1979a) did not specify designation of any type, any material that can be assigned to the type series must be considered a syntype (according to articles 72.4.7, 73.1 Recommendation 73F. Avoidance of assumption of holotype, 73.2 and 74.5 ICZN). Correct spelling of the genus is Chloantha Boisduval, Rambur and Graslin ((1836) 1832).
