Current status. Macapta grisea [ Poole 1989]

Type status (description). Holotype male, allotype female, and paratype females, in Zoologischen Staatssammlung in München.

Type locality and collectors. Argentina — Salta: San Lorenzo , 25.x.1959 (Köhler) .

Type specimens. ZSM: Holotype ♂. Argentina, Prov. Salta, San Lorenzo , 25.x.1959, P. Koehler leg. Old label: Salta, 25.x, San Lorenzo. Male genitlaia slide ZS ♂ 11.
