Current status. Pseudoleucania hibernans [ Poole 1989, following synonymization of Janaesia Angulo with Pseudoleucania Staudinger by Lafontaine, 2004]

Type status (description). Holotype and paratype males, in Zoologischen Staatssammlung in München .

Type locality and collectors. Perú — Puno: Chicuito , 4000m., 28.viii.1953 ( W. Forster) .

Type specimens. ZSM: Holotype ♂. Peru, Puno, Chucuito , ca 4000m, 28.viii.1953, Leg. W. Forster. Genitalia slide #966.
