Current status. Pseudoleucania koepkei [ Poole 1989, following synonymization of Janaesia Angulo with Pseudoleucania Staudinger by Lafontaine 2004]

Type status (description). Holotype and allotype in Museo München (Zoolog. Smlgn. D. Bayer. Staates).

Type locality and collectors. [ Bolivia]— Lago Titicaca , Chucuito, 18.ii.1953 (Köepke). Slide #1021 .

Type specimens. ZSM: Holotype ♂. Peru, Chucuito , am. Titicacasee, 18.ii lis 19.iii.1953, leg. Koepke. Genitalia slide #1021. Allotype ♀. Peru, Chucuito , am. Titicacasee, 18.ii lis 19.iii.1953, leg. Koepcke.

Figures. Köhler, 1961: pl. I, fig. 5 male genitalia (slide #1021). Köhler, 1967: fig. 159 Cotype? (♀). Köhler, 1968: pl. 3, fig. 44 holotype (♂), fig. 45 allotype (♀), pl. 6, fig. 15 holotype male genitalia.

Remarks. The holotype and allotype specimens from ZSM correspond to figures 44 and 45, respectively ( Köhler 1968: pl. 3). In the IFML, there is another specimen with a holotype label and a “TLEP332” label, with identical data to the specimen in the ZSM but without a genital slide and not matching Köhler’s figure (1968: fig. 44). Therefore, it represents an invalid holotype.
