Current status. Praina jaujaensis [following synonymization of Tripseuxoa Hampson with Praina Schaus by Lafontaine 2004]
Type status (description). Holotype in Köhler’s collection, paratypes (#3968) in Museo de Historia Natural , San Marcos University, Lima, Peru.
Type locality and collectors. Peru — Jauja : Acolla Fuera, 3460m., viii.1954 (Blancas). Slide #1203 .
Type specimens. IFML: Holotype ♂. Acolla (cerca Jauja), 3460m., viii.1954, F. Blancas. MHN3968a. TLEP298.
Figures. Köhler, 1966: fig. 5 male genitalia (slide #1203).
Remarks. Although Köhler did not specify the sex of the types, he described only the male. Slide #1203 corresponds to a male paratype specimen at the IFML.
