Type status (description). Holotype and paratypes males in Köhler’s collection.

Type locality and collectors. [ Argentina]— Tucumán: San Pedro de Colalao, 1.200m., 23.iv.1961 (Köhler) .

Type specimens. IFML: Holotype ♀. San Pedro de Colalao, 22.iv.61. TLEP269.

Figures. Köhler, 1967: fig. 50 paratype (♀).

Remarks. Although Köhler (1961) mentioned that he described the species using only male specimens, in 1967 he shows an image of a female paratype. The discrepancy between the sexes of the holotype and the description is likely due to a misgender by the author.
