Type status (description). Holotype in Köhler’s collection.

Type locality and collectors. [ Argentina]— Chubut: Comodoro Rivadavia , xii.1938 (Oort) .

Type specimens. ZSM: Syntype ♂. Argentina, Prov. Chubut, Comodoro Rivadavia , 22.xii.1938, V. Oort leg. Old label: Com. Riv.-27, 22.12.1938, km. 27, V.O. With “Cotypus” label .

Remarks. Although Köhler did not specify the sex of the holotype, he described only the male. We cite the information of this only specimen we found, a syntype, because Köhler based the description of the species on a single male specimen whose collection information matches with that of this specimen, with the exception of the collection day, which was not specified in the description. It is likely that this specimen corresponds to the holotype and Köhler labeled it as a syntype because he believed he had more material, but he never changed the “Cotypus” label.
