Type status (description). Holotype, allotype, and paratypes in Köhler’s collection.

Type specimens. IFML: Holotype ♂. Tucumán, Siambón , 2000m . Genitalia slide #1222. Allotype ♀. Tuc., Río Chuscha , 1000m , 20.v. 65.
Remarks. Although Köhler described only the male, he designated both holotype and allotype. Slide #1217 is cited by Köhler (1966) for Pseudoleucania badia Köhler, 1966 and it is labeled as belonging to this species too.
