Type status (description). Holotype, allotype, and paratypes in Köhler’s collection.

Type locality and collectors. [ Argentina]— Tucumán: Río Chuscha, 1000m., 20.v.1965 (Köhler); Siambón , 2000m., 24.iii.1964 (Köhler). Slide #1217 .

Type specimens. IFML: Holotype ♂. Tucumán, Siambón , 2000m . Genitalia slide #1222. Allotype ♀. Tuc., Río Chuscha , 1000m , 20.v. 65.

Remarks. Although Köhler described only the male, he designated both holotype and allotype. Slide #1217 is cited by Köhler (1966) for Pseudoleucania badia Köhler, 1966 and it is labeled as belonging to this species too.
