Current status. Copitarsia sulfurea [ Angulo & Olivares 2003]
Type status (description). Holotype in Köhler’s collection, paratypes in Gentili’s collection.
Type locality and collectors. [ Argentina]— Neuquén: Covunco (usina de luz), 10.xii.1963 (Gentili). Slide #1232 .
Type specimens. IFML: Holotype ♂. Arg., Neuquén, Covunco (Usina), 19.xii.63, Gentili. Genitalia slide #1232.

Remarks. Although Köhler described both male and female, he only designated holotype and paratypes.
