Current status. Mamestra “of authors” subrosea [ Poole 1989]
Type status (description). Holotype, allotype, and paratypes in Köhler’s collection, additional paratypes in Fleiss’, Schachowskoy’s, and Petrowsky’s collections.
Type locality and collectors. [ Argentina]— Neuquén: San Martín de los Andes ( Schachowskoy , Petrowsky ). Slides #784, 785 .
Type specimens. No type material was found in any of the collections examined or consulted.
Remarks. In the ZSM there ir one male cotype with the following information, “Argentina, Prov. Neuquen, Pucará, 1200m, iv.1951, S. Schachowskoy leg., Coll. P. Koehler. Old label: Pucará, P.N. Lanin, iv.1951, Leg. Schachowskoy. Genitalia slide #783”
