Perennial 2-20 cm. Stem from a rosette, erect, elongating after flowering. Leaves lanceolate, elliptical or broadly ovate; margin more or less papillose; cauline leaves 1-3 pairs. Calyx-teeth lanceolate, acuminate; calyx-tube (3-)4-7 mm wide, winged on the angles. Corolla 15-25 mm; lobes deep blue; tube greenish-blue outside, with a white line from each sinus. C.
