Longest leaves 1-5-6 x O-5-2-5 cm, lanceolate to obovate, patent when mature, shining, coriaceous; margins entire or nearly so, narrowly cartilaginous, densely covered with pale glandular hairs up to 0-25 mm, leaves otherwise glabrous. Scape 1-8 cm, 1- to 4-flowered. Bracts 3-15 mm, triangular-lanceolate to linear. Pedicels 2-12 mm. Calyx 8-15 mm. Corolla pinkish-red to lilac. 2« = c. 198. Rocks and stony slopes; calcicole. • N.E. Alps, westwards to c. 13° E. Au Ge.
