Glabrous perennial; stems 20-50 cm, slender. Basal leaves up to 5 x 3 cm, oblong-spathulate, entire or weakly and distantly dentate. Cauline leaves distant, mostly linear to oblanceolate, entire, a few sometimes toothed or lobed. Inflorescence simple or branched, lax; pedicels c. 2 mm in flower, up to 5 mm in fruit, shorter than the bracts. Calyx-lobes 1 - 5-2 mm, lanceolate, acute. Corolla c. 4 mm, dull blue or violet; tube gibbous at the base but not spurred. Seeds covered with low, rounded tubercles. 2« =18. Dry places. • Corse. Co.
