Glandular-pubescent perennial. Stems 30-90 cm, not winged. Leaves up to 15 x 10 cm, ovate to lanceolate, truncate to cordate at base, serrate, the lower more or less obtuse, the upper acute. Cymes 3- to 6-flowered; bracts mostly not leaf-like; pedicels 3-4 times as long as calyx, glandularhirsute. Calyx-lobes ovate-orbicular, entire; margin narrowly scarious. Corolla 8-9 mm, yellowish-green, with purplish upper lip. Staminode orbicular to reniform. Capsule c. 6 mm, globose to conical, acuminate. Mountain rocks. 2n = c. 52. • N. & C. Portugal; W.C. Spain. Hs Lu.
