Perennial; densely viscid-villous throughout with yellowish, translucent hairs; stems up to 35 cm, diffuse, pendent or ascending. Leaves up to 25 x 13 mm, suborbicular to obovate or rhombic, usually obtuse, rather thick. Pedicels up to 22 mm, recurved in fruit. Calyx 5-8(-9-5) mm; lobes 1 -4 mm wide, linear-spathulate to obovate. Corolla 10-18 mm; lips lilac or pale yellow with violet lines; palate yellow; spur 2-4 mm, obtuse. Capsule about half as long as calyx; loculi only slightly unequal. Seeds c. 0-5 mm, with low, smooth ribs. Walls and rocks. S. Spain, S. W. France. Ga Hs.
