Like 1 but up to 10 m; twigs glabrescent; corolla pale lilac, the tube 2-3 times as long as calyx; stamens inserted near the top of the tube. Sometimes cultivated fo r ornament and occasionally naturalized in France. [Ga.] (IF. China.)
