Biennial; stems 20-70 cm. Basal leaves 4—15 x 2-5 cm, oblonglanceolate, sinuate to pinnatifid (sometimes pinnatisect towards the base), more or less undulate, silvery-tomentose; petiole 2-5 cm. Inflorescence freely branched, lax, sparsely tomentose, eglandular. Bracts 3-7 mm, lanceolate; longer pedicels 2-5 mm. Calyx 4-6 mm; lobes linear-oblong. Corolla 20-30 mm in diameter; outer surface tomentose. Stamens 5; anthers all reniform; filament-hairs white. Capsule 5-6 mm, ellipsoid. • S. & S. W. parts o f Balkan peninsula. Al G r Ju.
