Biennial or perennial, fioccose or lanate with white hairs below, glabrous in inflorescence. Basal leaves 2-8 x 1-5 cm, densely lanate, obovate-spathulate, subentire, longpetiolate. Inflorescence lax, freely branched. Bracts c. 1-5 mm, ovate; pedicels 2-5 mm. Calyx 3-4 mm. Corolla c. 20 mm in diameter. Stamens 4, without staminode; anthers all reniform; filament-hairs violet. • E. Greece (Evvoia). Gr.
