Stems flexuous, angled, pubescent, woody below. Leaves l- 5-2-5(-5) x l-2(-4) cm, ovate-rhombic to suborbicular, entire, sparsely pubescent, narrowed into petiole of equal length. Pedicels nodding. Calyx 3-4 mm, divided almost to base; lobes subulate. Corolla 6-10 mm, whitish, densely lanate below insertion of stamens. Berry 1-1-5 cm, ovoid, creamy-white, edible; seeds 1 - 5-2 mm, hairy. Locally naturalized in S. & S.W. Europe. [Az Br Co Ga Hs It Lu.] ( E. temperate South America. )
