Subglabrous or sparsely puberulent (rarely pubescent) dwarf shrub 5-20 cm with filiform, ascending, often branched stems. Leaves 2-4-5 x 1-5-4 mm, ovate to triangular, the lower cordate and the upper rounded at the base, subobtuse, entire, flat, subsessile. Verticillasters with 2-4 patent flowers; pedicels or peduncles ascending, usually equalling or exceeding subtending leaves. Calyx mm, somewhat villous in throat; teeth c. f as long as tube, subulate, unequal. Corolla 4-5~5-5 mm, white. 2n = 30. • Islas Baléares, Corse, Sardegna. BI Co Sa.
