T. widderi Ronniger ex Machule , Mitt. Thür. Bot. Ges. 1(4): 89 (1957), from the E. Alps, differs from 56(c) in having marginal veins in the leaf.
T. doerfleri Ronniger , Denkschr. Akad. Wiss. Math.-Nat. Kl. (Wien) 99: 189 (1924) ( T. hirsutus var. doerfleri (Ronniger) Ronniger ), from N.E. Albania (Koritnik), resembles 56(d) but has stems hairy all round and leaves densely covered by long and short hairs. Its status is uncertain.
