Plant with numerous basal leaves in a rosette, densely and rather softly villous-pubescent, with setae and hooked hairs. Stem 5-20 cm, simple or scarcely branched. Lower leaves ovate to ovate-oblong, shortly petiolate, greyish beneath. Calyx 6- 7(-10) mm, lobed to |-£. Corolla 13-16-5 mm,?white. Scales 1 -6-4 mm, Ungulate, marginal papillae not more than 1 £ times as long as wide, the lower more or less scattered. Stamens 2- 6-4- 3 mm; anthers 2-3 mm, 4-6 times as long as wide; filament £-£ as longas anther. 2zz= 30. • S. Aegean region (Sikinos). Gr.
