Like 9 but low-growing, compact, scarcely more than 10cm; inflorescence dense, the lowermost flowers with bracts; calyx 3 mm in fruit, enlarging only slightly, the hooked hairs numerous, stiff; corolla c. 4 mm, limb 2 mm in diameter when flat, bright yellow. 2/7 = 48. • N. & C.
