MATERIAL EXAMINED. Indonesia: Western New Guinea, Papua Province, Biak Island , 27.I 1995, 1♂, leg. I. Pljushtch ( YS) .
NOTES. Until now this species was known only from Waigeo, Misool and Supiori Islands ( Brouerius van Nidek, 1959; Cassola, 1987; Wiesner, 1988, 1992, 2020; Matalin, 2013). The Biak Island is located side by side with the Supiori Island and a new record of T. caligatus here is not strange.
