Material examined. Female (holotype of Spathius crebristriatus Chao, IZCAS ), Fujian Prov., Jianyang Huangkenggongshe Aotou , 20.VII.1965, She Rijian. Female (holotype of Spathius mundus Chao, IZCAS ), Fujian Prov., Meifeng, 7.V.1966. China ( ZJUH). Hainan Prov.: 1 female, Bawangling, 26.XI.2008, Wang Manman, No. 200805636; 2 females, Yinggeling Hongmaocun, 23–25.V.2007, Zeng Jie, Nos. 200804510 and 200804471 .

Distribution. China (Hainan); Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan.

Remarks. Spathius crebristriatus Chao and S. mundus Chao were synonymized as S. mimeticus (Enderlein) by Chen & Shi (2004), but S. crebristriatus and S. mundus have their mesoscutum highly and vertically elevated above pronotum, median lobe of mesoscutum (dorsal view) almost straight anteriorly and with distinct anterolateral corners and vertex with steep and posteriorly declivous surface which are identical to S. araeceri Nixon.
