Remarks. We examined the holotypes of S. verustus Chao and S. lunganjiding Chao from China. They all have the same characters, i.e short ovipositor sheath, palpi light reddish brown or yellow, hind tibia with long pale subbasal area, mesopleuron always smooth in lower half and fore wing with darkenings along veins, which allows it to be synonymised. Comparison of the material from the East Palaearctic determined as S. radzayanus Ratzeburg ( Belokobylskij, 1996, 1998) with type material of S. radzayanus from the Deutsches Entomologisches Institut (Müncheberg, Germany) clearly showed that it is a different species. So, the Eastern Palaearctic material is treated here as belonging to S. verustus Chao.
