Spathius changbaishanensis Chen et Shi, 2004: 121 . Syn. nov.

Distribution. China (Jilin); Japan, Russia (Far East).

Remark. Re-examination of the type material of S. exarator oriens Belokobylskij ( Belokobylskij, 1998) described from the Russian Far East and Japan shows that previously used diagnostic features are actually characteristic at the species level of this taxon (stat. nov.). Comparison of this species with description of S. changbaishanensis Chen et Shi (type material of this taxon is not availiable for study) distinctly shows that S. changbaishanensis is the junior synonym of S. oriens (syn. nov.)
