Genus Disepholcia Prout, 1924
Disepholcia Prout, 1924 , in Prout & Talbot, Bulletin of the Hill Museum, Witley 1: 404. Type-species: Trisuloides caerulea Butler, 1889 , by original designation. Syntypes [ India]: [Punjab], Dharmsala (BMNH).
The monotypic genus Discepholcia is treated here as it is the closest ally of Trisuloides . It differs from Trisuloides in the shape of the forewing, the black and blue shine/color of the hindwing, well developed tongue-like editum (basal process of costa) in male genitalia, and by structure of female genitalia. Before a complete revision of the other genera of Pantheinae View in CoL has been conducted, we retain Disepholcia as a distinct genus, although it has been placed as a synonym of Trisuloides by other authors.
