Material examined. 2 M. CHINA: Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Hami City, Hulugou , the eastern part of Mt. Tien , 28.viii.2024, leg. ZH Wu.
Remarks. The Hami population examined here shows no clear difference from other populations under this name. Some morphological notes are as follows: a total length of 6.0– 6.5 mm, wing length of 4.3–4.4 mm, AR lost, and LR 1 value of 0.55–0.60. According to Makarchenko et al. (2023, p. 324, fig. 20), the P. (s. str.) branickii group is a complex, consisting of 2 to 5 species based on different molecular delimitation methods. Since this species group is in need of a revision using integrated morphological and molecular methods, our specimens could not be identified into a species level here.
