Range: — Peru, Bolivia (CO, LP); Brazil.
Ecology: —Uncommon in premontane and lower montane forests, usually at 1400–2000 m.
Notes: —Similar in morphology and ecology to C. subincisa but less frequent. The var. abitaguensis (Domin) Stolze occurs in Colombia and Ecuador.
