Speckled Bass or Threadfin Bass. To 35.9 cm ( 14.1 in) TL ( Rodríguez-Romero et al. 2008). Off east end of Anacapa Island, southern California ( Love et al. 2005) and south of Point Mugu ( 34°00’N, 119°00’W), southern California ( Love et al. 2005), to Talara, Peru ( Chirichigno and Vélez 1998) , including Gulf of California (Heemstra in Fischer et al. 1995), and Islas Galápagos ( Grove and Lavenberg 1997).
