Description: Total length 80.6 mm. Color of adults uniformly reddish brown to black, legs and telson yellow to yellowish or reddish brown, lighter colored than body. Pectinal teeth number 14/14. Entire manus covered by large, rounded granules but devoid of carinae. Carapace of female with disc smooth, at margins granulate and anteriorly tuberculate. Telson hirsute, vesicle longer than the aculeus.
Distribution: Gujarat; Haryana; Karnataka; Madhya Pradesh; Maharashtra; National Capital Territory of Delhi; Odisha; Rajasthan; Uttar Pradesh; Telangana
Remark: This species was collected below the ground while digging pits for plantation. The area is dominated with Acacia spp.
