Material examined. South Korea. Ulsan-si: 4 ♂, 6 ♀, Ulju-gun, Cheongnyan-eup (35.487661, 129.286521), 03.ix.2024, leg. Soojeong Ahn ( HNIBR) GoogleMaps .
Distribution. Widely distributed in the Oriental Region ( Rider 2006). In East Asia: Korea (Ulsan), China (CE: Anhui, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Zhejiang; NO: Shaanxi, Henan; SE: Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan; SW: Guizhou, Sichuan, Yunnan; WP: Xizang) ( Rider et al. 2002, Rider 2006), Japan (Honshu, Kyushu, Shikoku, Nansei Islands, Tsushima Island) ( Takai & Ishikawa 2012), Taiwan ( Rider 2006).
Comments. We collected several adults and nymphs on rice paddies. No damage has been reported to date, but future monitoring of N. elongata in Korea would be needed since this species was reported as a serious pest of rice in Japan ( Yasunaga et al. 1993; Takeuchi et al. 2004; Torikai & Higuchi 2022).
