Material examined. 1 ♂ 1 ♀, West China, Kwanhsien [Prov. Sichuan, Chengdu area ], 21.vii.1926, G. M. Franck ( MNHB).
M. distincta View in CoL was originally described from Khasis, north-eastern India ( Arita & Gorbunov 1996). It is also known from Nepal (as M. nepcha, Arita & Gorbunov 1995b View in CoL ) and Vietnam ( Kallies & Arita 2004) and is recorded here from China for the first time.
